Low cost Audio Telephones (3161, 3162)

Description

These telephones have a reduced number of connection terminals: the local bell terminal and the alarm input

terminal are not available. The “n” push button works on the terminals “SW SW” (Max 30Vac/dc 0,2A).

The intercom allows the connection of an optional relay board Art.402, for the activation of an external

sounder : the board is housed inside the intercom and connected to the JP1 (red wire on “+” side).

It is possible to connect up to 255 of these intercoms on the same system. If required it is possible to give

the same address for a max. of 3 intercoms (for applications that require more units in the same apartment).

The Art.3161 can be used only on audio systems without digital concierge and these phones can not be

mixed with other phones such as 3171, 3172 or 3176.

Programming

Programming is made by setting the internal 8 way dip-switch to the positions shown on decimal/binary

conversion table in this manual.

Operation

The intercom works as the Art.3171 with the exception of concierge, local bell and alarm functions.
